Miniature marvels, magical experience Miniature Marvels is a wonderful 1/72nd scale model experience in Auckland that opened in January this year. Our amazing community fundraiser and supporter, Mark Davies, loved scale modelling as a child. Later in life, the former army officer took up the hobby again. In 2013 Mark was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which drastically reduced his scale modelling abilities. However, passionate about sharing his extensive collection and knowledge, Mark worked tirelessly to open Miniature Marvels gallery in January 2025. Admission to this model wonderland is by appointment. It’s FREE, with donations welcome to raise money for the Neurological Foundation.
