SUMMER 2023 InTouch | 7 NEWS ROUNDUP Some wheelie great fundraising events were held around the country! Nelson Fieldworker Jane Hazlett, and Nelson members raised over $250 at their Roll1k challenge event. What made their event even more special was the beach mat Jane arranged so members got to experience being on the beach for the first time in years! On Friday 29th September, MDA and the Northern Branch held a Roll1k challenge event at Hampton Downs. It was awesome to see so many of our members turn up to complete their 1km challenge around the club circuit track at Hampton Downs. It was even more awesome to see the smiles on the faces of the lucky three that won hot laps around the track with Callum Hedge in a Lamborghini! Thanks to everyone who joined us and a special thanks to Hampton Downs for hosting us for the afternoon, to the HOG’s members coming to support us and to Orbit Donuts for the yummy afternoon tea.
