Thanks MDA, for the beautiful memories MDANZ CONTINUES TO HELP MEMBERS FUND THEIR SMALL THING, THAT MAKES A BIG IMPACT ON THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES Brooke Salmon got all the way to New South Wales thanks to a grant from the Bradley Jenkin Memorial fund. FEATURE Dear MDA, Thank you for your generous contribution towards helping me attend the CMT Aussie Kids Camp with the help of the Bradley Jenkin fund. I had an amazing time at the camp, and it meant so much to me to be able to meet and bond with others who share similar experiences as me. I made some great friendships, and some beautiful memories. It was really one of the best times of my life and has had a significant impact on me. Thank you so much for help to make it happen and thank you to Jillian and Peter Critchley who organise the CMT Aussie Kids Camp. I thoroughly recommend this camp to any young people out there who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT).. I was made to feel at ease as soon as I got there, and it felt like I was being welcomed into a big family. It was a relief to be able to bond with other kids without any barriers, as it was a mutual understanding that we are all in the same boat. Overall, I left the camp with a feeling of understanding that I have never had before, felt comforted knowing there are others who live with the same struggles as I do, and I felt incredibly grateful for the entire experience.
