6 | InTouch WINTER 2025 MDANZ held its annual general meeting at the end of April, and we’d like to introduce you to the new National Board. How is your family member doing? How are you feeling? Are you getting the level of support you need? AGM update 2025 The 2025 MDANZ Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 27th April via Zoom. National Executive Chairperson Trevor Jenkin presented the 2024 Annual Report and spoke to MDANZ’s response to its values - sustainable, empowering, connected and proactive. Nominations were called for the Vice Chairperson & three Board members. The two-year term of office will start from the close of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday 27th April 2025. Scott Boyle was elected as Vice Chairperson. Jessica Anderson, Joy Jenkin and Kim Russell were elected as Board Members. Scott, Jessica, Joy, Kim and Yaz Dolbel-Neville join Trevor Jenkin as National Executive Chairperson (Northern Branch), Emma Ferry (South Island Branch) and John Hawkins (Central Branch). Led and staffed by disabled people and their parents, our free service provides an advisor to support disabled people and their families to research, broker and find a suitable place to live.
