THE NEWS “Our AGM is more than just a meeting – it’s where your voice shapes the Cerebral Palsy Society’s future and keeps us accountable to you.” That’s the message from Executive Committee Chairman Dan Clay ahead of the Society’s 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM). It is being held on Sunday, October 18 in-person and online, and Dan is encouraging all members to get involved. “It’s also an opportunity to celebrate the past year and all that the Society has achieved. This is the 75th AGM for the Society, so the AGM is also a significant milestone for the organisation.” An opportunity for transparency and celebration Nominations for positions on the Executive Committee close on September 11. If there are more nominations than positions available members will be invited to vote for their preferred candidates. Members are also invited to submit resolutions (remits) in time for the September 11 deadline and members will be invited to vote on them. “We’d love to see as many members as possible join us for the AGM, get engaged and have their say.” The AGM, once again being managed by electionz.com , is being held in-person in Gratfton, Auckland and online.
