16 | THE REVIEW SEPT 2025 FEATURE ...continued. Save the date - our AGM is coming up The Cerebral Palsy Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is happening virtually at 2pm on Sunday, October 19. This is a chance for you to have your say. The AGM is an important opportunity for members to review the Society’s performance and participate in key decisions. AGMs are about transparency, giving members a chance to express their opinions, providing feedback, and voting on important matters, such as the election of Board members or changes to the constitution, if necessary. Once again, the Cerebral Palsy Society’s 2025 AGM will be managed by electionz. com. We are grateful for the expert support and knowledge they provide each year. Nominations for positions on the Board, and remits (a formal proposal that seeks to change a policy, constitution, or initiate action on a specific matter) must be received by 4pm on Friday, September 12. Nomination and remit forms are available on the governance page of our website www.cerebralpalsy.org.nz/ governance and must be emailed to clare@cpsociety.org.nz . Online voting for the nominations and remits will open on Monday, September 22 and close at 4pm on Friday, October 17. Current financial members of the Society will receive an email or a letter from electionz.com with all the voting information. RSVPs to attend the AGM also close at 4pm on Friday, October 17.
