THE NEWS The Cerebral Palsy Society team hosted a Children’s Fun Day in Auckland on October 7. It was wonderful to see so many happy youngsters enjoying the activities that were on offer – from sticky darts and racing cars to crafts and hair braiding. Thanks to Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre and Disability Sport Auckland for joining us, and to Walk on Wheels, Independent Living and Papatoetoe High School for their support. The event was held in October, so we were sure to incorporate Be Green & Be Seen into the day. Thanks to everyone who joined us and for the feedback about how much you enjoyed the day. Our entire team will be on holiday from midday on Friday, December 22, and we’ll be back at our desks at 9am on Monday, January 15. During the three-week shutdown period the phones and emails will not be monitored.
