“Thank you very much for your help and support. We appreciate it so much.” “Thank you for everything you guys do - it is invaluable.” OUTREACH Cerebral Palsy Society. The international non- profit association has members in more than 60 countries around the world. Its key aims focus on: - Representation: it provides a Cerebral Palsy voice at a global level - Networking: members can share, exchange and learn from one another’s expertise - Communication: supporting efforts to increase awareness of Cerebral Palsy. Work with the International Society has included meetings with regional policy advisors and subject matter experts on topics such as child health, access to disability equipment, preventative screening and low-cost interventions for Cerebral Palsy in rural and remote regions. • Contributing to the NZ Disability Strategy Refresh. The strategy aims to improve outcomes for disabled people and focuses on key priority areas of education, employment, health, housing, and justice. • Making a submission to the Draft Carer’s Strategy Action Plan. The Action Plan focused on three priority areas; recognition and appreciation; health and wellbeing, and financial security. The consultation was around a new ongoing, rolling Action Plan to address core systemic issues. • Making a written and oral submission to the Government’s Social Services and Community Select Committee on the Disability Support Services Bill. Member feedback formed the foundation of our submissions, ensuring they reflected the real-life impact of the proposed legislation. 16 | ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT 2025-2026
