getPhysical, getThis&That, getUpAgain, getOutThere The difference we made in 2025-2026 The Cerebral Palsy Society continues to have a meaningful impact on the lives of members through funding and grant opportunities, programmes and events. Funding The four getProgrammes – getUpAgain, getPhysical, getThis&That and getOutThere – continue to support members on a day-to-day basis with things like counselling, gym memberships, disability-related household items, and transport options. The funding is accessed via a member’s e-card three times per year and has a substantial impact on their lives as it ensures they can access the equipment, resources and activities they need to live their best life. Grants The Society provides Individual grants to support members with larger items like computers, vehicle modifications, trikes, therapy and sports classes. Academic grants provide financial support for members participating in adult educational opportunities. Grants can contribute towards course fees, student association fees, travel to and from university and textbooks/course materials. Organisational grants offer support to organisations that assist people who live with Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi. Programmes After three years of supporting Programme funding redeemed by our members 2025-2026 getStructured getDriving getMoving PROGRAMMES members to obtain their restricted driver licence, the Cerebral Palsy Society’s getDriving programme came to an end during the 2025- 2026 year. It was a privilege to support members on their driving journey and to see so many participants gain greater independence and confidence through driving. We congratulate everyone who took part in the programme, particularly those who achieved their restricted licence. We are extremely grateful to getDriving’s generous funder – The Dines Family Charitable Trust. Without them this programme would not have been possible. getMoving began in 2024 and continues to be a popular programme with our 6–21-year- olds in Auckland. Participants enjoy coming along and parents have reported back to us about their child’s growth in strength, movement and confidence. Events The Society’s coffee groups are as popular as ever with participant numbers continuing to grow. There are eight coffee groups across the country – each of them an opportunity for members, their whānau and caregivers to enjoy some quality time socialising and sharing stories. In December 2025, the Society hosted another event for Christchurch members who live in a residential facility or receive care 24/7. We visited the International Antarctic Centre for a tour through the centre, followed by lunch. We are grateful for the generosity of the E L and J B Sanderson Cerebral Palsy Trust, proudly managed by Perpetual Guardian, for providing the funding for this trip. $367,655 $5,692 $8,970 $11,040 Programme funding allocated to our members 2025-2026 8 | ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT 2025-2026
