“Thank you for everything you guys do - it is invaluable.” OUTREACH Our national fundraising and awareness campaign continued in 2024. Be Green & Be Seen – Kia kākāriki, kia kitea recognises green as the international colour of Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi, and it is held throughout October to coincide with World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 6. Each year members, schools and businesses across the motu get creative and go green to raise funds. Our wonderful supporters also get behind the #beACTIVE arm of the campagin. #beACTIVE encourages physical activity and team building and lets supporters select a physical activity that suits them, create a fundraising page and seek donations as they complete their challenge. We remain thrilled with the support our members, friends of the Society and people around the motu show towards Be Green & Be Seen – Kia kākāriki, kia kitea.
