30 educational presentations We raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy - Hōkai Nukurangi through presentations, social media, and publications to ensure New Zealanders have a greater understanding of the condition and knowwhere to go for help. We provide a voice for people living with Cerebral Palsy - Hōkai Nukurangi to break down barriers and get the best treatment possible. Advocacy Advocating for the wider Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi community remains central to the Cerebral Palsy Society’s mahi. In 2024–2025, we continued to prioritise systemic advocacy, using our platform to elevate lived experience and push for equitable access, better service delivery, and sustainable policy change. Through targeted submissions, strategic collaborations, and active participation in national and international forums, we worked to ensure the voices of individuals with Cerebral Palsy - Hōkai Nukurangi and their whānau are heard, respected, and meaningfully included. OUTREACH 10 research articles published 2 editions of The Review magazine published Education and Awareness 35,699 information, advisory and supports provided The Cerebral Palsy Podcast was launched in July 2024, and the Society was delighted to contribute to its establishment. We supported the host and producer with ideas, put them in contact with people to interview, and helped promote it. We were delighted to see that in June 2025, the podcast was named a finalist in the NZ Radio & Podcast Awards for Best Independent Podcast. Congratulations to Kris Edwards, Nathan Hart, Braydon Priest and Melanie Louden.
