OUTREACH Our national fundraising and awareness campaign is held in October, to coincide with World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 6. The focus is on the colour green – the international colour for Cerebral Palsy. Be Green & Be Seen began in 2021 with a quiet launch to introduce the campaign to the Society’s members. Things stepped up a level in 2022 and we introduced pages dedicated to the campaign on our website, set up a Givealittle page, sought media exposure and a number of landmarks around the country turned green for us. We were delighted to see members get on board, as well as schools and businesses. We were blown away by the support we received for such a new campaign, and we were incredibly grateful for the $15,000 Aotearoa New Zealand raised for the Society.
