21 Educational presentations We raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy through presentations, social media, and publications to ensure New Zealanders have a greater understanding of the condition and knowwhere to go for help. We provide a voice for people living with Cerebral Palsy to break down barriers and get the best treatment possible. Advocacy Advocacy is an important part of the Cerebral Palsy Society’s work – and an area in which we are making the needs of our community heard. We firmly believe part of our role is to advocate for the wider Cerebral Palsy community to ensure equitable access and lasting change for individuals and their families in line with our strengths-based te reo term Cerebral Palsy – Hōkai Nukurangi – to achieve what is important to you.
