SOUTHERN SUPERSTARS, MADS AND HARPER HARRISON, GET SET FOR OUR NEW TAKE ON THE ANNUAL APPEAL 16th-22nd September: save the date for this year’s appeal. Anyone and everyone will be able to take part in the ‘soon to be revealed’ challenge. Many of your will have heard of (and some participated in) MDANZ’s annual appeal, Roll1KforMDA! Roll1KforMDA has been the campaign for the past three years, where members and supporters took on the challenge of using any kind of wheels to roll 1KM in distance. This year, we’ve evolved the campaign as we wanted to make it more relevant to our cause and to offer more flexibility to be more inclusive. While we can’t reveal the new challenge in this issue, we can confirm that the appeal dates will be fromMonday the 16th of September to Sunday the 22nd of September. We are also unveiling the heroes of this year’s campaign, our amazing South Island region members, Mads and Harper Harrison, so you can learn more about their story. South Island Region members Mads and Harper Harrison are the faces of the 2024 campaign, and their Mum Chiquita Harrison, is sharing their story to help raise awareness and funds.
