4 | InTouch SUMMER 2024 NEWS ROUNDUP FSHD Group Meetings If you or a family member have FSHD, there is an online support group who meet every second Wednesday of the month on Zoom, from 7pm – 8pm. Email info@mda.org.nz for more information. Don’t forget to have your say! Our Fieldwork service is one of MDANZ’s core offerings to its members and their families/support networks. Our fieldworkers work in the community to provide personalised support and education. Personalised support may include supporting through diagnosis, walking alongside during times of grief and change, offering information about conditions, facilitating service access through referrals or advocacy, or reducing isolation by linking people to others with shared experience. Following a visit from your Fieldworker, you will receive a follow up survey to complete. The survey will capture important information we need to ensure we continue to offer the best service and support to our members.
