47 Queen Margaret Calling :: ISSUE 62 :: October 2018 QMCPA Quiz Night The community had their knowledge tested at the QMC Parents’ Association Quiz Night in August. It was a great chance for parents and friends to get together and compete for prizes. The event was hosted to give new and established parents the chance to get to know each other and build relationships in a relaxed setting. Over 130 parents and friends attended the quiz and took part in the Silent Auction. Team Smarticus took it out on the night and won the quiz. QMCPA President Alana Bicknell says she is pleased with how the event went and was glad to see the parent community getting involved. “It was such a fun night for everyone and it was pleasing to see so many parents from all year levels in the room,” she says. Silent Auction prizes were generously donated by various sponsors and funds raised will go towards the Parents’ Association’s plans for the Centenary.
