31 Foundation Trust The Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust Board supports the College by raising funds for the ongoing development of its facilities and learning enrichment to ensure our students have a world class education. Above all else, the Trust Board seeks to promote, preserve and enrich the special character of Queen Margaret College. The Foundation Trust Board is made up of seven trustees, two Governance Board-appointed members and the College Principal. The Trust Board also has two patrons. The Queen Margaret College Foundation Trust Board is dedicated to supporting the strategic objectives of the school and advancing the education of students. We are accountable to the Governance Board, parents and wider community. We encourage our parents, friends and community to participate by providing donations, bequests, and gifts to the College. These funds can be used to undertake building projects, add new programmes, provide scholarships and upgrade facilities. The Trust Board also provides a Circa Theatre experience, where the theatre is booked out and our families attend a Pantomime to celebrate the end of the school year. The Foundation also runs the Foundation Trust Ambassador Committee, which is made up of parents and friends who actively promote the college. Students also have the opportunity to join the Foundation Trust Board and contribute to discussions at meetings. The Foundation Trust Board aims to leave a legacy for those that come after us.
