23 Communication There are many ways you can stay in touch with what is happening at Queen Margaret College. These include: • Regular newsletters which include important information and key dates. The newsletters tells you about upcoming events, includes notices for different year levels and the College and provides links to the Sports and Performing Arts websites. • A calendar located on the school website. The calendar can be found on the homepage of the school website. The link is www.qmc.school.nz/ calendar. • The Queen Margaret College App which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. We recommend downloading the App to access important information and receive updates. It is our one stop to find out everything from term dates, to events to important information on MYQMC. All emergency or urgent alerts are sent out via the app first. The App can be used on tablets/smartphones. • Following the Queen Margaret College social media accounts: • Facebook: queenmargaretcollege • Instagram: queenmargaretcollege • The QMC Portal for information relating specifically to you such as school reports and timetables. The QMC Portal can be found on the homepage of the school website and on the QMC App. • MYQMC for information about the curriculum, uniform requirements, transport, the tuckshop, the after school and holiday programme, emergency procedures and other pieces of helpful information.
