Headlines 3 For the last 50 years, the Neurological Foundation has made a difference in the lives of clinicians, scientists, and Kiwis living with a neurological condition. By supporting vital research into understanding neurological disease and the brain, the Neurological Foundation has dedicated the last 50 years to fighting for a future where better treatment will be possible. During the month of May we want you to raise hope by raising money that will go directly towards funding neurological research. It’s as simple as picking a challenge such as running, walking, biking, swimming, hula hooping – it can literally be anything, and then setting a challenge with the number 5, 50 or even 500 in it. Then ask your friends, family and colleagues to support you by donating to your challenge. If you love to run, walk or bike, which are all excellent for maintaining a healthy brain, then you can challenge yourself to run, walk or bike 50 KM in the month of May. Alternatively, if you really want to challenge yourself you can run, walk or bike, for 50 minutes a day for 5 days a week throughout the month of May. If you are not a fitness P.S.
