South Island Colgate Games 2022 | 9 COVID-19 GUIDELINES The Colgate Games will be delivered within the current New Zealand Government Guidelines. At the time of writing, New Zealand is using the Covid Protection Framework and the host cities are in Orange Light. Should colours change between now and the commencement of the Colgate Games, updated guidelines will be shared with all clubs, competitors, coaches and parents. To ensure the safety of all those attending the Colgate Games, Athletics NZ will be providing extra hand sanitizer and will clearly display QR codes for the NZ COVID Tracer App. The My Vaccine Pass will be required for everyone aged over 12 years and 3 months who is entering a Colgate Games venue. Children under the age of 12 will be treated as though they had a vaccine pass. A wristband will be issued from the venue once the My Vaccine Pass has been verified. This wristband must be worn at all times. Important things to note under Orange Light Framework: • If you’re sick, stay home and rest. Do not compete, train, officiate, coach, support etc. alongside others • Maintain strong hygiene practices – wash your hands, sneeze, or cough into your elbow, avoid spitting • Face coverings are mandatory at public venues and encouraged elsewhere • While physical distancing is not required, you should still consider distancing yourself from people you don’t know if you can • Be kind to others and be kind to yourself For further government advice please visi t Please follow government advice and stay safe.
