This issue of In Touch ties in with some key events for the women in our community; International Women’s Day (March 8) and upcoming Mother’s Day (May 8). The women in our MDA community are celebrated in this magazine; frommothers to entrepreneurs and it is great to support them, their businesses and personal endeavors. We were pleased to hear that the Disability Rights Commissioner is using powers under the Human Rights Act to launch an inquiry into the support of disabled people during the Omicron outbreak (page 3) .
